Road Less Traveled
Built on land that had been a part of their family for generations, this home is surrounded by existing neighborhoods yet completely off the beaten path. The client’s goal was to capture the natural light and the views of the natural surroundings. Large windows and tall ceilings throughout the home’s interior offer extensive views and allow for the light to come in while an outdoor lounge and entertaining space create a serene place to relax.
The home contains classic American architecture that is captured through timeless detailing, while giving a nod to a more modern, open design. Conversation areas can be found throughout many different spaces, including a cozy basement speakeasy, a reading nook, and a bright kid’s playroom upstairs. These spaces, along with the custom sixteen-foot dining room table and the private guest suite, allow ample space for entertaining. The back patio contains an outdoor kitchen and a dual height firepit, complete with custom wood detailing in the columns, ceiling, and pergola.
