Maybe Something New
Built in a historic neighborhood, the goal of the homeowner was to create a home that would be a nod to what was already there, honoring the past architecture and fabric of the neighborhood. This craftsman bungalow focused on recreating historical elements throughout, starting with hand-crafted, tapered columns and painted lap siding that invite you in at the front porch. The classic craftsman details include thick trim and warm wood tones while hints of color add charm throughout. An open floor plan and an abundance of windows allow for light to be maximized throughout the main living spaces of the home. The team focused on proportions, details, and using new materials to bring the past into the present.
